A neutralizing antibody drug that stimulates dormant tooth buds to grow natural teeth, addressing congenital anodontia where permanent teeth fail to develop and acquired tooth loss from decay or periodontal disease. It is intended for patients with congenital tooth agenesis, initially children missing six or more permanent teeth, with future application for elderly patients with oral frailty, delivered through healthcare providers and clinical trial sites. The approach is positioned as a molecular targeted therapy that inhibits a molecule blocking tooth bud growth, administered by injection to regenerate the patient's own teeth, and is currently in clinical development with planned trials.
