Haptyk

Haptyk is a macOS utility that uses the built-in accelerometer in Apple Silicon MacBooks to detect typing force and play corresponding mechanical keyboard sounds in real time, solving the problem of generic or random keystroke sounds. It targets individual MacBook users, particularly developers and consumers, who want a more authentic typing experience. Unlike other keyboard sound apps that play random samples, Haptyk measures actual typing velocity for sub-millisecond, velocity-sensitive audio feedback, and is delivered as a native app with a one-time purchase.
